Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X Fold 5 in India on July 14, 2025, pushing the boundaries of foldable smartphone technology with a premium design, cutting-edge specs, and powerful AI features.

The X Fold 5 features an expansive 8.03-inch inner foldable AMOLED display alongside a 6.53-inch cover AMOLED screen. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate and deliver up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, making for an ultra-smooth and vibrant viewing experience. Despite its foldable nature, the phone remains impressively thin—just 4.3mm when unfolded and 9.2mm when folded—with IPX8, IPX9, and IP5X certifications ensuring durability against water and dust.

Performance

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This setup guarantees a seamless experience for multitasking, gaming, and content creation.

Zeiss-Enhanced Triple Camera Setup

Photography is a major focus, with a triple 50MP rear camera system developed in collaboration with Zeiss. The setup includes a primary wide sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens, delivering crisp and versatile shots. On the software side, Vivo packs in AI Image Studio, AI Magic Move, AI Erase, and AI Image Expander to give users greater creative control.

Massive Battery and Fast Charging

A 6,000mAh battery powers the foldable, supported by 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Vivo promises all-day usage, even for power users.

The Vivo X Fold 5 is priced at ₹1,49,999 for the single 16GB + 512GB variant. Pre-orders began on July 14, with official sales starting July 30 through Flipkart and Vivo India’s online store.
