Sony Launches Bravia Theatre System 6 and Theatre Bar 6 Soundbars in India

Sony has expanded its premium home audio lineup in India with the launch of two new soundbars — the Bravia Theatre System 6 and the Bravia Theatre Bar 6. These systems are designed to deliver immersive audio, ideal for home entertainment enthusiasts.

The Bravia Theatre System 6 is a full-fledged 5.1-channel home theater setup with 1000W output. It includes wireless rear speakers and a dedicated subwoofer, supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for cinematic 3D audio. Features like Vertical Surround Engine, S-Force PRO Front Surround, and AI-powered Voice Zoom 3 enhance both sound clarity and spatial realism. It’s priced at ₹49,990 and will be available from July 3, 2025.

Meanwhile, the Bravia Theatre Bar 6 offers a more compact 3.1.2-channel configuration with up-firing speakers and a wireless subwoofer. It also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, along with the same advanced Sony sound processing technologies. This model is priced at ₹39,990 and will hit stores starting July 1, 2025.

Both systems offer Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, making them suitable for wireless streaming from smart TVs, smartphones, and laptops. They also come with Night Mode and Voice Mode for tailored sound experiences during late-night viewing or dialogue-heavy content.

With sustainable materials like recycled PET fabric and reduced plastic packaging, Sony combines high-quality sound with eco-friendly design. These new offerings cater to Indian consumers seeking top-tier sound for their movie, music, and OTT streaming needs.
