Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Series Launches with AI Upgrades and Rugged Ultra Model

Samsung has officially unveiled its Galaxy Watch 8 Series ahead of its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, 2025. This new lineup includes the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and a powerful new entry — the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Each model brings cutting-edge hardware, advanced health tracking, and a major push toward Galaxy AI integration.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Series 

The Galaxy Watch 8 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, featuring a sleek aluminum frame, sapphire crystal protection, and a new “squircle” design. It's powered by the new Exynos W1000 chip and offers up to 32GB of storage. The Classic model retains its rotating bezel and comes in a premium stainless-steel build, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra is built for extreme environments with a 47mm titanium case and a 590mAh battery.

Samsung has packed the Galaxy Watch 8 Series with new AI-driven features. Vascular Load monitoring allows users to detect cardiovascular strain, while the AI Health Coach provides personalized wellness advice. Users will also benefit from upgraded sleep tracking, powered by machine learning, and deeper Google Gemini AI integration.

Galaxy Watch 8 Classic

Both the Classic and Ultra models support enhanced voice call clarity and emergency features. The Ultra model includes an emergency siren and is certified for rugged outdoor use.

The Galaxy Watch 8 starts at €379.99, the Classic at €529.99, and the Ultra is priced at €699.99. Pre-orders begin right after launch, with deliveries expected by late July.
