Vivo X Fold 5 to Launch on July 10 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 6,000mAh Battery

 The Vivo X Fold 5 is shaping up to be a standout in the foldable smartphone market, combining cutting-edge technology with a sleek design.

The device is expected to feature an expansive 8.03-inch foldable AMOLED inner display with a 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. The cover display is anticipated to be a 6.53-inch LTPO OLED panel, also supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Both screens are designed to provide a seamless experience, whether the device is folded or unfolded. 

In terms of design, the Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to be thin and lightweight, measuring approximately 4.3mm when unfolded and 9.33mm when folded. This sleek profile makes it one of the thinnest foldables available, enhancing portability without compromising on screen size. 

One of the most notable features of the Vivo X Fold 5 is its substantial 6,000mAh battery, which is quite large for a foldable device. This battery supports 90W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging, ensuring that users can quickly recharge their device and stay connected throughout the day. 

Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold 5 is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with *16GB of RAM* and *512GB of internal storage*. This configuration should provide robust performance for multitasking, gaming, and other demanding applications.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a versatile triple rear camera setup, potentially comprising: A 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus and50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom For selfies and video calls, the device may offer dual 32MP front-facing cameras on both the inner and outer displays. 

The Vivo X Fold 5 is anticipated to have *IP5X-rated dust resistance* and *IPX9+ water resistance*, capable of withstanding being opened and closed 1,000 times at a depth of 1 meter underwater. It is also expected to operate normally in temperatures as low as -20°C, making it a durable choice for various environments. 

The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to launch globally in Q3 2025, with a possible debut in India around mid-July, potentially on July 10, alongside the Vivo X200 FE. While official pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the device is rumored to be priced lower than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which started at around ₹1,16,000 for the 16GB + 512GB configuration. 

With its combination of advanced features, elegant design, and robust durability, the Vivo X Fold 5 is set to be a compelling option for consumers seeking a premium foldable smartphone experience.
