Redmi K80 Ultra Set to Launch in July 2025 with Dimensity 9400+, 144Hz Display, and 100W Fast Charging

The Redmi K80 Ultra is poised to make a significant impact in the smartphone market with its upcoming launch in July 2025. As the latest addition to Xiaomi's K-series lineup, the K80 Ultra is expected to offer cutting-edge features and performance enhancements.

At the heart of the Redmi K80 Ultra lies the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, built on a 3nm process. This processor boasts a configuration of 1x Cortex-X925, 3x Cortex-X4, and 4x Cortex-A720 cores, delivering robust performance for demanding tasks. The device is anticipated to come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for data. To manage heat, it incorporates a 3D Ice-Sealed Circulating Cooling Pump, which helps maintain optimal temperatures during intensive use. 

 Battery and Charging

Powering the device is a substantial 7,410mAh battery, supporting 100W fast charging. This setup promises extended usage times and quick recharge capabilities. Additionally, the K80 Ultra features bypass charging technology, which allows the device to be powered directly during gaming sessions, reducing heat generation and preserving battery health. 

Camera and Display

The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, providing vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. For photography enthusiasts, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, a 20MP camera caters to selfies and video calls. 

Design and Additional Features

The Redmi K80 Ultra is designed with a metal mid-frame and a fiberglass rear panel, offering a premium feel. It also features Dragon Crystal glass protection on the front, enhancing durability. Additional highlights include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68/IP69-rated water and dust resistance, and dual stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience. 

Expected Pricing and Availability

While official pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Redmi K80 Ultra is anticipated to be priced between ₹59,990 and ₹74,970 in India, depending on the variant. The device is expected to be available in multiple configurations, including options with 12GB/16GB/24GB RAM and 512GB/1TB storage
