OnePlus is set to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup with the anticipated launch of the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5, expected on July 8, 2025. Both devices aim to offer compelling features at competitive price points in the Indian market.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is rumored to feature a  6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. Under the hood, it's expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, delivering robust performance for multitasking and gaming.

A standout feature is its substantial 7,000mAh battery, supporting 100W fast charging, promising quick top-ups and extended usage. The device is also expected to sport a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. Additional features may include dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of photography, the Nord CE 5 is rumored to feature a 50MP primary camera using Sony's Lytia LYT-600 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front camera. The device is also expected to house a 7,100mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Additional features may include an IR blaster, a hybrid SIM slot, and a single speaker setup. The Nord CE 5 is anticipated to be priced around ₹25,000, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.
