Lava is gearing up to launch the Lava Storm Play 5G in India, alongside the Lava Storm Lite 5G.
This new addition stands out as the first smartphone in India to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, aiming to deliver strong performance in the affordable 5G segment.
The device will come equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, promising faster app loading and smooth multitasking. While Lava has not confirmed the exact launch date, the phone will be available for purchase through Amazon and Lava’sofficial website once it goes live.

In comparison, the earlier Lava Storm 5G offers a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ IPS 2.5D display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera, a 16MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It was priced at Rs. 13,499 for the 8GB + 128GB model.
With its upgraded processor and high-speed memory, the Lava Storm Play 5G is expected to offer better overall performance while maintaining competitive pricing. More details, including pricing and full specs, are likely to be revealed soon.
