Oneplus smart TVs launch confirmed


  Two new smart TVs to be launched in India soon



  OnePlus will launch two new smart TVs, the Y1S and the Y1S Edge

OnePlus India has set a launch date for three new products.  The Chinese smartphone maker will add a new smartphone in the form of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 to its Nord series, which is a 5G enabled handset which is not yet available in India.  With the introduction of the Nord CE 2, two new smart TVs, the OnePlus TV Y1S and the Y1S Edge, OnePlus will further strengthen its smart TV portfolio in the budget segment.

OnePlus is all set to launch these new products in India on February 17, which will be streamed on the company's social media channels at 7:00 pm IST.  It has already created a 'Notify Me' page for these products, which will probably be launched on Amazon in India.

OnePlus Y1S, Y1S Edge

  OnePlus will take care of the new Y-Series smart TV budget buyers and primarily take over the Redmi Smart TV range.  The new smart TVs will feature 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision and Atmos.  The company has confirmed that Android TV 11 will be used in these smart TVs.  Design says they are bezel-less.

  The Y1S may be on the lighter side, while the Y1S Edge will see more advanced features.  These smart TVs will also be retailed on Amazon, but the Y1S Edge may be offline exclusive.


  Expected price

Depending on the size, the Y1S 43 inches is likely to cost less than 30K, maybe around ₹ 28,999, and the Y1S Edge may violate the 43-inch 35K mark
